Clean for The Queen weekend

Frome Town Council is joining the UK’s largest litter pick to try to clean up the country in time for the June – where the Queen will celebrate her 90th birthday.

clean for the queen logo‘Clean for the Queen’ is a new campaign, which launched last week and is aiming to see a million people out and about cleaning up their communities the weekend of 4, 5 & 6 March 2016.

The anti-litter charity Keep Britain Tidy is also supporting what is thought to be the biggest community-led clean up the country has ever seen.

As we’ve updated our Keep Frome Clean page after Councillors approved the Recommendations that came from the Keep Frome Clean Panel this January. So, we thought it only fitting that we look to coordinate and support some town clean-ups as part of this national Clean for The Queen weekend.

Help us to know if you’re planning anything…Contact us if you’ve got a clean-up organised for somewhere in Frome already – or if you’d like some help organising one in your neighbourhood.

We’ll keep you up to date with plans for the weekend here on our website, on our social channels and with posters & flyers on our park noticeboards.

Let’s Keep Frome Clean!
