‘A Plastic Ocean’: free film screening

“This is without a doubt one of the most important films of our time and everyone needs to see it.” – David Attenborough

On Tuesday 1st May, at 7.30pm, Frome Town Council are hosting a free screening of ‘A Plastic Ocean’ at the Town Hall.

This hard-hitting film, shot across 20 locations, documents the latest science; proving how plastics, once they enter the oceans, break up into small particulates that enter the food chain, where they attract toxins like a magnet. These toxins are stored in seafood’s fatty tissues, and are eventually consumed by us.

While this multi-award winning documentary uncovers the harrowing state of pollution in our ecosystems, it is also inspiring huge changes globally. Read more about the film’s impact here: https://plasticoceans.org/a-plastic-ocean-film-impact/

Come along to the Frome Town Hall for this free screening, tea and coffee.
